Top Airports by Takeoffs & Landings

For the week of 3–9 August 2026, business aviation activity showed a clear regional split: APAC recorded broad week-on-week gains, the Americas were mixed but resilient, while EMEA saw widespread weekly declines across major summer destinations.

Week-over-week comparisons are based on 27 July–2 August 2026, while year-over-year comparisons are measured against the corresponding week in 2025.

Top week-over-week movers

Weekly growth was concentrated in APAC, which accounted for the strongest increases across the airport sample. Bali more than doubled its activity from the previous week, while Beijing, Mumbai and New Delhi also recorded gains above 40%. In the Americas, Las Vegas posted the strongest increase among the region’s leading airports.

Largest week-over-week declines

The sharpest weekly contractions were concentrated in EMEA, with Milan and Madrid both falling by more than 40%. Paris and London Biggin Hill were also down by over 30%, pointing to a broad pullback across several major European business aviation hubs.

Strongest year-over-year growth

Year-over-year performance was more positive across the Americas and APAC. Hanoi recorded the standout increase, with movements more than doubling from the corresponding week last year. Westhampton Beach led growth in the Americas, while Perth, Bali, Dallas and both Sydney airports all posted gains above 20%.

The steepest annual declines were concentrated in APAC, led by Jakarta, Tokyo and New Delhi. Aspen recorded the largest decline in the Americas, while London Luton posted the sharpest contraction among the leading EMEA airports.

Regional highlight: New York (KTEB) remained the busiest airport in the Americas with 2,254 flights, despite a modest weekly decline. Dallas and Nantucket recorded the strongest momentum among the top five, rising 11.20% and 12.24% WoW, respectively, while all five airports remained above last year's levels.

Regional highlight: Mumbai led APAC with 167 flights and a strong 45.22% WoW increase, closely followed by Singapore at 147 flights. New Delhi also saw substantial weekly growth of 41.11%, although activity remained 32.80% below last year, while Sydney delivered the strongest YoY performance among the top five at +22.47%.

Regional highlight: Nice remained EMEA's busiest airport with 1,053 flights, followed by Olbia with 912. All five leading airports declined week on week, with Paris recording the sharpest fall at -33.45%. Year over year, however, four of the five remained ahead of 2025, led by Olbia at +16.18%.

Notable movement: Las Vegas - Los Angeles was the busiest route with 142 flights, while Nantucket - Westchester recorded the strongest growth among the top 10, rising 55.26% WoW and 68.57% YoY. Las Vegas - Santa Ana also showed strong weekly momentum at +43.10%.

Notable movement: Kuala Lumpur - Singapore remained APAC's busiest route with 25 flights, but the strongest momentum came from Canberra - Sydney, which surged 242.86% WoW and was 1,100% above last year from a low base. Mumbai - New Delhi also more than doubled week on week, despite remaining 51.11% below 2025 levels.
